THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE!!
The Spa Travellers recently attended a makeover and photo shoot event hosted by Estee Lauder. Over the next few months, Estee Lauder will be continuing the event this spring at various locations at the Bay throughout Toronto. It was a wonderful opportunity as each customer was treated to a makeover and a profile picture at the Estee Lauder Counter. We attended the first event which took place at Holt Renfrew at 50 Bloor Street West in Yorkville, downtown Toronto. It was a chance to be treated like a movie star for the day.
The special event started with make-up professionally applied by a team of Estee Lauder make-up artists. Pictured above is Anna who is having her make-up applied by her artist.
My artist chose make-up from the newly launched Michael Kors - Very Hollywood spring collection. The colours were blended for an overall nude look. My eyes featured a coffee brown shade. My lips were lined with the colour of spice and finished with a Honey Blonde Lipstick.

It did not stop there! We were then ushered in front of a photographer where she expertly posed us for our two picture shots. It was a party atmosphere all around.
We left with a photograph in our hand. At the same time, a digital version was waiting for us back home on our laptops! You can see my picture which I am now happily using as my profile picture on our blog.

Estee Lauder's next social networking event takes place in Toronto at The Bay at the Fairview Mall, 1800 Sheppard Avenue East on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can book an appointment by calling (416) 491-2010 to reserve your spot. This event will also include a 10 day supply of your ideal foundation.
You can also catch them at Yorkdale on April 24, 2010 and at The Bay at Yonge and Bloor on April 29, 2010.
