The Nuxe line is owned by a women chemist and entrepreneur in Paris, France. Her name is Aliza Jabes.  She purchased an existing pharmaceutical company in 1989 and since then, has worked to develop this line of products.  Her philosophy is to produce gentle, natural formulas that reduce the signs of aging without causing irritation.

The Nuxe Creme Fraiche Moisturizing Balancing Emulsion for combination skin is an unprecedented combination of eight plant milks and four balancing essential oils with a natural anti-stress fragrance.  Nuxe claims that skin is rebalanced and rehydrated with a refined texture and a perfect matte appearance.

After two weeks

This product was tested by me for a period of just over two weeks in the dead of winter in Canada.

The best feature of this cream for me was its noticeable ability to keep my pores tight, which is sometimes a problem.  This product blew me away because of this result.  I would highly recommend it if you are a woman seeking to refine and diminish large pores.

Creme Fraiche is scented, which I would describe as a meadow flower scent, nothing overly perfumed.  The scent reminds me of when I was a child running through a meadow in summer.  Not normally a person who seeks a scented cream, I can confirm that once the product quickly sinks into the skin, the scent dissipates completely.   There is no lingering smell that irritated me, which I am happy to report.

When using this cream in winter with harsh blowing winds, it would work best in conjunction with an added serum before bed.  It would probably be great alone as a summer moisturizer.  For those people who have combination skin and do not wish a heavy scent, I would recommend this line.

The Nuxe line can be purchased at the Bay and selected Shopper's Drug Mart boutiques. The suggested retail price is $39.00.

1.7 fl oz./50 ml.

Creme Fraiche was supplied by the Public Relations Department from Nuxe for our consideration and comments.  We would like to thank Nuxe for generously supplying this product.
